Sooke Community Choir welcomes You...

Formed in 1989, the Sooke Community Choir is a non-profit, non-auditioned singing haven for joyful voices in our seaside town.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from September to May. We perform Spring and Christmas concerts as well as participate in community events such as The Spring Sing Out with Sooke Schools, Remembrance Day at the Legion, and for our seniors at Ayre Manor.

If you are interested in a musical milieu where you will expand your vocal skills, musical knowledge and enjoy joining voices in harmonic song, this may be what you are looking for.

We look forward to Singing with You!

Voices...

"I relocated to Sooke from Calgary in 2021 and as a new person in town who works from home, I was struggling to find ways to build community in my personal life. During my time in Calgary, I had been a member of multiple choirs and when I joined the Sooke Community Choir in January of 2023, I found a group of people who not only share a common interest with me, but who genuinely care about each other. Sooke Community Choir truly embodies the spirit of community and am so glad to have found this amazing group of humans. I’d encourage anyone to come join us!"
