Sooke Community Choir Welcomes You...

Formed in 1989, the Sooke Community Choir is a non-profit, non-auditioned singing haven for joyful voices in our seaside town.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings throughout the year except for June, July and August. We perform concerts at the end of each Spring and Fall sessions as well as participate in community events such as The Spring Sing Out with Sooke Schools, Remembrance Day at the Legion, and for our seniors at Ayre Manor.

If you are interested in a musical milieu where you will expand your vocal skills, musical knowledge and enjoy joining voices in harmonic sound, the Sooke Community Choir is for you.

"The Sooke Community Choir has always been a friendly and welcoming group of singers. I have been a member of the Choir for over 30 years. Everyone is welcome in our Choir, whether they have sung in a choir before or not. I have found that I continue to learn new singing techniques from our two talented leaders. With new voice warm-up exercises at the beginning of each practice, I can now sing the high notes more easily!"
